Daily Nuggets: Chelios Gets Number Retired; Devils Contenders?

Today was a bit of a letdown. It has been over 200 days since I last enjoyed a full Sunday slate of football. Maybe there was too much build-up? It could have been the poor performances of my fantasy football teams. The early games were pretty boring. The Las Vegas Raiders are a boring 1-0 in the young season, so there is that I guess.

Want to know what is not boring? Hockey season! We are less than a month from the puck drop at T-Mobile Arena!

Last season’s Stanley Cup Final loss left Panthers’ forward Anton Lundell hungry.  Are the New Jersey Devils Stanley Cup contenders? Is Carter Hart on the move?
