I haven't posted since last year, so let's jump straight into what's happening around the Vegas Golden Knights and the greater NHL.

Vegas Golden Knights

2022: The best Vegas Golden Knights moments of 2022.

Vegas: The Golden Knights allowed the Nashville Predators to force overtime, but were able to regroup and win in overtime on New Year's Eve.

Postgame: Nicolas Hague stepped up with a depleted Golden Knights defense, scoring a "Hagerbomb" in overtime for the winner.

YT: We tried a new angle in the 60-Second Golden Knights Recap. Let us know if yinz like it visually/audio-wise.

Silly: A compilation of #ExpressiveMarkStone. Here's to more of Stone's reactions in 2023!

Another Look: No word yet from the NHL regarding Brayden McNabb's hit on Mark Jankowski. McNabb got a game misconduct for the hit but could receive additional discipline from the NHL's Department of Player Safety. Again, no word yet.

Looking back on the hit, while McNabb has a good reputation for laying clean (but big) hits, this one is a little high and was called correctly. Given McNabb's good reputation and that he is not a repeat offender, I doubt he will get a suspension, which is huge for the VGK's injured defense. Stay tuned.

Buffalo: A huge night for former Golden Knights in Buffalo as Peyton Krebs dropped the gloves (!) and Alex Tuch scored the overtime winner.

Clip of the Day: Let's see that Haguerbomb in overtime once more.

Pittsburgh: However you feel about outdoor games, blame Sidney Crosby, who will be playing in his sixth outdoor game.

WJC: Connor Bedard continues to tear it up for Team Canada at the 2023 World Junior Championships.

Colorado: Nathan Mackinnon is back for the Colorado Avalanche, but they were defeated by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
