This will be the second playoff series between the two teams in franchise history. In 2017-18, the Golden Knights defeated the Jets in five games in the Western Conference Final to advance to the Stanley Cup Final.

Elsewhere in the Western Conference, it is now confirmed that the Edmonton Oilers will play the Los Angeles Kings in the first round. Tomorrow's 5:00 p.m. game between the Colorado Avalanche and Nashville Predators will finalize the seedings and matchups for all teams.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs will begin on Monday, April 17th. The VGK will play game one of their series Tuesday, April 18th.
