For the first time in NHL history, all 32 teams were in action Saturday. Not only that but given that we are close to the end of the season, almost every game had playoff implications. Oh, and the Championship Game of the Frozen Four was on too. What an Easter treat!

Let's do a quick, but thorough recap of all the relevant games for the Vegas Golden Knights and the greater hockey world. Happy Easter everyone.

Vegas Golden Knights/Western Conference Playoff Push

Dallas: The Golden Knights, of course, lost their game to the Dallas Stars in the shootout 2-1.

In that game, the VGK were without Jack Eichel and also lost Zach Whitecloud to an injury.

The VGK picked up a point, which confirms that they will be either the first or second seed in the Pacific Division, meaning home ice in round one.

Winnipeg: The Winnipeg Jets knocked off the Predators with a huge win, likely ridding the hopes of playoffs in Nashville.

Calgary: The Calgary Flames let a critical extra point go in the shootout against the Vancouver Canucks, losing 3-2.

Edmonton: Connor McDavid scored his 150th point of the season as the Oilers continue to chase the Golden Knights in the Pacific.

Los Angeles: The LA Kings lost to the Colorado Avalanche in regulation, which gives the Golden Knights a break.

Seattle: The Seattle Kraken beat the Chicago Blackhawks, basically securing the first Wild Card spot for them.

Clip of the Day: The Maple Leafs/Canadiens game was largely irrelevant to the standings. But we did get an EBUG alert!

Eastern Conference Playoff Push & More

Tampa Bay: Congrats to the Quinnipiac Bobcats for winning the NCAA National Championship over Minnesota in overtime.

East Wild Card: All of the Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Penguins, Florida Panthers, and New York Islanders won their games Saturday to keep pace with one another in the Eastern Conference Wild Card Playoff Push. The Panthers and Islanders currently occupy the two Wild Card spots.

Boston: The Boston Bruins have tied the record for most regular-season wins in the NHL with 63.

Pittsburgh: Sidney Crosby also reached a remarkable milestone with his 1,500th career point.
