A couple of quick news updates from the Vegas Golden Knight's noon practice at City National Arena.
Ivan Barbashev was not on the ice with the team, but head coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed it was a maintenance day for him.
After he left in the second period of Friday night's game, Will Carrier was not present at morning skate and is labeled as out indefinitely with a lower-body injury per Cassidy. Carrier is in the midst of having a career season with 16 goals and 9 assists for 25 points in 56 games played.
Paul Cotter, who was scratched due to the arrival of Teddy Blueger, will draw back in the lineup on the third line.
