Golden Knights Gameday 61: Missing Patch: Lines and Notes vs Hurricanes

After collecting points in nine-straight games the Vegas Golden Knights (35-19-6, 76 points) will try and get back on track Wednesday night against the Carolina Hurricanes (39-11-8, 86 points) starting at 7:00 p.m. from inside T-Mobile Arena.

This is the last first meeting of the season for the Golden Knights, who meet the Metro. Division-leading Hurricanes for the first of two times. Former Golden Knights Max Pacioretty and Dylan Coghlan are not expected to play for the Hurricanes.

After being acquired on Sunday, Ivan Barbashev will make his home Golden Knights debut. Adin Hill is expected to start again after Laurent Brossoit went down with another lower-body injury. Brossoit has been placed on IR, and Logan Thompson is still out with a lower-body injury.

What to Watch For

Back on Track

Overall, the Golden Knights will try and rebound after a less than stellar performance against the Colorado Avalanche on Monday where they were shutout for only the second time all season.

Barbie House

New member of the Golden Knights, Ivan Barbashev will play in his first home game with the VGK after being acquired on Sunday. Against the Avalanche he had one hit, shot on goal, and blocked shot.

Couple Milestones

Chandler Stephenson will play in his 400th career NHL game tonight and Michael Amadio his 100th career game with the Golden Knights.
