Daily Nuggets: Thompson Reveals All-Star Game Mask, Horvat Traded

The NHL trade market has been set as the Vancouver Canucks have traded captain Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders. Canucks general manager Patrick Allvin was able to fetch back Anthony Beauvillier, Aatu Raty, and a first-round pick. This will likely be the price tag for a top-six forward on the NHL Trade Market, which will more than likely affect the Vegas Golden Knights.

Playoff Picture: The team finds themselves in a very familiar spot as they did last year, where they missed the playoffs.

Trade Talk 2: Perhaps the spark that Jack Eichel needs to get out of his slump is better and more consistent linemates.

Vancouver: The Vancouver Canucks have finally traded Bo Horvat. He goes to the New York Islanders in a big trade.

Long Island: The Islanders paid a hefty price to acquire Horvat. But he could play alongside Mat Barzal and possibly sign an extension. 

San Jose: With the price for a top-six forward set, expect the San Jose Sharks to get a similar return to Horvat for Timo Meier, that is, if they trade him.

Boston: The Boston Bruins reportedly want to add a defenseman on the NHL Trade Market and are not shopping Brandon Carlo.
