Tons of news and notes regarding the Vegas Golden Knights this morning. They return home for the Holidays for a four-game homestand starting tonight against the New York Islanders at 7:00 p.m.

Vegas Golden Knights

Trade Rumors: Don't count the Vegas Golden Knights out on a potential Bo Horvat deal.

Transactions: The Golden Knights have sent Kaedan Korczak back down to the Henderson Silver Knights. This could be a sign that a defenseman is ready to return to the VGK's lineup. Both Shea Theodore (lower body) and Alex Pietrangelo (personal) an return at any time.

Brett Howden and Jack Eichel are also both coming off LTIR/IR and are eligible to return tonight against the Islanders.

Practice Updates:  We'll have to wait until 11:00 a.m. to get a better idea of who is playing tonight.

Mullet Arena: The VGK welcome the New York Islanders into town. They are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Arizona Coyotes on Friday night.

Reminder: The Golden Knights will be wearing their reverse retro jerseys tonight. This is the third of eight times these jerseys are scheduled to be worn. The others are Dec. 31 vs. Nashville, Jan. 7 vs. Los Angeles, Jan. 14 vs. Edmonton, Jan. 16 vs. Dallas, and Jan. 21 vs. Washington.

Michelob Ultra Arena: The Las Vegas Desert Dogs played their home opener Friday night, and none other than Wayne Gretzky, an owner of the team, was there and given a gold key to Las Vegas.

Clip of the Day: Bruh.

Additional NHL News and National Hockey Now

Boston: Already the best team in the NHL, could the Boston Bruins add Patrick Kane?

Colorado: The Colorado Avalanche are appropriately in the market for a center. Jonathan Toews?

Calgary: After being a healthy scratch, Milan Lucic vows that it will "never happen again."

Philly: But it will happen to Kevin Hayes, as John Tortorella has scratched the Flyers' center.

Debate Time: The Hockey Guy, made an interesting video yesterday on which logos he preferred as primary logos in the NHL. I decided to make my own ideal league with what are, in my opinion, the best logos for each team in the NHL. Anaheim, please go back to the Mighty Duck.
