The Vegas Golden Knights (50-22-9, 109 points) will play their final game of the regular season tonight against the Seattle Kraken (46-27-8, 100 points) at 7:30 p.m. After missing a handful of games due to injury, Jack Eichel and Shea Theodore will return to the lineup. Laurent Brossoit will start.

Brett Howden will also miss tonight's game due to personal reasons, as he is expecting the birth of he and his wife's first child. Congrats Brett!

What to Watch For

Still Stuff To Play For

Both the Golden Knights and Kraken have clinched playoff spot, but that does not mean there is nothing to play for tonight.

The Golden Knights can finally clinch first place in the Pacific Division by earning a point in any fashion. That would confirm an opening series against the Winnipeg Jets at home. The Edmonton Oilers can only pass them if they beat the San Jose Sharks and the VGK collect zero points against the Kraken.

Lineup Changes

Obviously, the reinforcements of Jack Eichel and Shea Theodore will bolster the team. Brett Howden missing tonight's game means that Paul Cotter is likely back in the lineup. Laurent Brossoit appears to be headed in the direction of becoming the game-one starter for the playoffs.

Eichel also has a bet with Pat McAfee for $100,000 to a charity of his choice if he scores a hat-trick.
