Jake Walman's strange 'Griddy' overtime goal celebration has gotten me thinking about NHL goal celebrations. Some are legendary, iconic even. Jaromir Jagr's salute, Teemu Selanne's shooting range, and Tiger Williams riding the horse come to mind.

But the best goal celebrations are the ones that come from the heart, and no other player in the NHL is better at this than Mark Stone.

So today for absolutely no reason at all, I tried my best to compile a list of #ExpressiveMarkStone moments for both entertainment purposes and so that they can repurposed into memes.

Let's start with the most recent iteration.

This one came after Stone f**king scored a shootout winner last year, I love the cameo from Jack Eichel in this one and I also love how nonchalant Brayden McNabb and Keegan Kolesar are as they have gotten used to Stone's passion.

Speaking of Jack Eichel, Stone was very vocal for his support of Eichel when he torched his former team, scoring four points.

The first game of the season this year against the Los Angeles Kings provided a candid Stone moment.

A throwback to the bubble playoffs, where Stone was flourishing even without a stick.

And another playoff iteration.

Some of these I'm not going to remember the circumstances under which they happened.

Mark, buddy, the ice is the other way.

When you run into a buddy you haven't seen in a long time.

This one is pretty tame for Mark Stone standards, but it came against his former team.

I highly doubt Chandler Stephenson gets sick of Stone's enthusiasm, but sometimes it's borderline assault.

Another attack on a teammate, this time Jack Eichel.

Watch the little hop from Stone on the replay.

Still have no idea what he was trying to draw here.

Photo compilation, say what you want to say about the Knights Twitter, but they do a killer job with #ExpressiveMarkStone content.

These photos capture so much emotion

I'll cut it off here. If I missed any notable ones DM them to me on Twitter @OKrepps85.

What I find so funny about all of this now that I'm out here in person and in the locker room is that Mark Stone is a pretty laid back guy. He's not like Paul Cotter or Alec Martinez in terms of charisma with cracking jokes and those type of things. He's a humble leader on a veteran Golden Knights team that wants nothing more than for his team to succeed. And when they do, oh boy is he happy.
