Today, the Vegas Golden Knights (31-17-6) will try to salvage a four-game road trip in which they have gone 0-2-0 thus far. After today, they play just one more game before the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off Tournament. The Golden Knights play the New Jersey Devils (30-19-6) tonight at Prudential Center.



The puck drops just after 4 p.m.

The Golden Knights are coming off of a frustrating loss to the New York Islanders. They played very well defensively but failed to solve Ilya Sorokin and lost 2-1. Brandon Saad scored the lone tally– his first goal as a Golden Knight.

The Devils have struggled without their captain and leading goalscorer Nico Hischier, who hasnโ€™t played since January 25th. Theyโ€™ll also be without defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler and starting goaltender Jacob Markstrรถm.ย 

Adin Hill starts in net for the Golden Knights. Hill has played just one game against the Devils in his career and is 1-0-0 with a .940 save percentage.

For New Jersey, 24-year-old Nico Daws will make his first start against the Golden Knights. Daws has played just two games in the NHL this season and has a record of 1-0-0 and a .941 average save percentage.
