The Vegas Golden Knights are off to a strong start in their season-high seven-game homestand, Brad Marchand is angry, and more NHL trade rumors are kicking up. That and more on a Friday edition of Daily Knights Nuggets.

Vegas: The Golden Knights put up a dominant effort against the Pittsburgh Penguins Thursday night and won 5-2.

The VGK managed a three-goal first period, Adin Hill was strong, and both Paul Cotter and Jack Eichel had monster games in their returns.

Sunrise: Golden Knights goaltender Logan Thompson has been named to the 2023 NHL All-Star Game. It looks like head coach Bruce Cassidy will join him. More on this later today. In the meantime, you can vote for the remaining All-Stars on NHL.com.

WJC: The 2023 World Juniors wrapped up last night with Team Canada winning Gold in dramatic fashion. Arizona Coyotes prospect Dylan Guenther scored in overtime to win Gold. Four Golden Knights prospects participated in the tournament, and three medaled. We will have more on the 2023 WJC later today too.

Freemont Street: A reminder that the Golden Knights fan festival will take place this Sunday on Freemont Street.
