Golden Knights Game Notes

Last season, the Golden Knights dropped both games against the Hurricanes for an 0-2-0 record. They are 5-6-3 against them in 14 career games.

Per head coach Bruce Cassidy, Mark Stone is week-to-week. For tonight and the upcoming three-game road trip, the Golden Knights will have to replace the league leader in power play points. Here’s how they plan to do it:

Before leaving the game with an injury, Stone recorded two goals and two assists for his seventh four-point performance as a Golden Knight. It’s a franchise record.

Jack Eichel’s four-point game on Saturday put him above a point-per-game in his NHL career. In 622 games, Eichel has 244 goals and 623 points.

Eichel continues to lead the league in points with 15. The next closest players are Mark Stone with 13, and William Nylander with 11.

On Saturday, Tomáš Hertl recorded his 300th career assist.

We’re on milestone watch! William Karlsson is one point away from 300 as a Golden Knight.

The Golden Knights have a record of 2-0-1 at the Fortress this season; the Hurricanes are 3-0-0 on the road.
