Golden Knights vs Oilers Game 4, STONE UPDATE; Lines, Notes, & How to Watch

On Monday, the Vegas Golden Knights will play a crucial Game 4 in which they need a win to avoid going down 3-1 in the series. They’ll take on the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place.



Puck drop is scheduled for 6:30 pm PST.

In Game 3, the Golden Knights overcame a 2-0 deficit and jumped out to a second-period lead. The Oilers tied it late, and overtime seemed imminent. And then, William Karlsson and Reilly Smith combined for some magic with 0.4 seconds remaining in regulation to stun the Oilers late with a 4-3 victory.

Adin Hill starts in Game 4. Hill has a record of 17-10 and an average save percentage of .915 in 28 career postseason games.

After an injury to Calvin Pickard, Stuart Skinner will start his second consecutive playoff game. Skinner has a record of 19-18 and an average save percentage of .888 in 38 career postseason games.

Head coach Bruce Cassidy ruled Golden Knights captain Mark Stone a GAME-TIME DECISION for Game 4.

“[Stone will] be a game-time-decision,” said Cassidy on Monday. “He was out there this morning, so we’ll see how he reacts to that.”

Jack Eichel is on a six-game point streak. He has one goal and nine assists during that stretch.

Connor McDavid has six goals and nine assists in nine career postseason games against the Golden Knights.

Leon Draisaitl has eight goals and four assists in nine career postseason games against the Golden Knights.

In Game 3, Reilly Smith scored the game-winner with 0.4 seconds remaining in regulation. That was the third-latest game-winning goal in Stanley Cup Playoffs history.

The Golden Knights have a Game 4 record of 10-7. The Oilers have a Game 4 record of 31-22; in the last eight years, that record is 8-3.
