Golden Knights Gameday
Golden Knights vs Wild Game 6: Dorofeyev Update, Lines, Notes, & How to Watch

On Thursday, the Vegas Golden Knights will play a crucial Game 6 with the opportunity to close out the series. By the end of the night, there will either be a handshake line or a scheduled Game 7. The VGK will face a Minnesota Wild team desperate to avoid elimination at Xcel Energy Center.
Puck drop is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. PST.
Between a relief appearance from Marc-André Fleury and Ryan Hartman’s disallowed go-ahead goal with 1:15 remaining in regulation, Game 5 was an emotional roller coaster. The Golden Knights won 3-2 when Brett Howden scored the game-winner in overtime off of a beauty of a feed from Tanner Pearson.
Adin Hill will start Game 6 for the Golden Knights. Hill has a record of 15-8 and an average save percentage of .921 in 24 career postseason games.
After exiting Game 5 with an illness, it sounds like Filip Gustavsson has recovered and will start Game 6 for the Wild. Gustavsson has a record of 4-5 and an average save percentage of .920 in 10 career postseason games.

Golden Knights Game Notes
With a win tonight, the Golden Knights will eliminate the Wild and advance to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the fifth time in their eight-year history. They’re up in the series but can ill afford to take their foot off the gas.
When an NHL team is up 3-2 in a series, they advance 79.2% of the time.
On Tuesday, William Karlsson skated in his 100th postseason contest as a member of the Golden Knights. He opened the scoring shorthanded and logged 18:45 TOI.
Kirill Kaprizov leads the Wild in scoring with five goals and four assists in five postseason games. Matt Boldy isn’t far behind, with five goals and two assists in five postseason games.
Matt Boldy is on a six-game active point streak dating back to the regular season.
Golden Knights head coach Bruce Cassidy officially ruled Pavel Dorofeyev OUT for Thursday’s game against the Wild.
“[Dorofeyev] won’t play tonight; it’ll be day-to-day for him. Hopefully, he recovers quick.”
Victor Olofsson will slot into Dorofeyev’s spot on the second line and on the first power play unit.
“[Olofsson] is going to replace [Dorofeyev] in the elbow on the power play; he’s been there. [Olofsson has] played with Tomáš Hertl, so we’ll start there,” said Cassidy.
The Golden Knights have a Game 6 record of 5-4; the Wild are 5-5.
