Golden Knights vs Wild Game 2: Lines, Notes, & How to Watch

On Tuesday, the Vegas Golden Knights play Game 2 in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They’ll again host the Minnesota Wild at T-Mobile Arena.

Puck drop is scheduled for 8 p.m. PST.

On Sunday, the Golden Knights began their first-round series against the Minnesota Wild. NHL betting sites heavily favored the VGK, and they showed why. Strong performances from Adin Hill and Tomáš Hertl and a two-goal game from Brett Howden propelled them to a 4-2 win.  

It’ll be a goaltending matchup of Adin Hill vs Filip Gustavsson again. Hill recorded a save percentage of .900 on Sunday; Gustavsson posted a .885 save percentage.

Golden Knights Game Notes

The VGK enter Tuesday’s game with the opportunity to take a 2-0 lead in the series heading into Minnesota.

Pavel Dorofeyev scored his first postseason goal on Sunday in just his second playoff game. 

Tomáš Hertl’s two-point night on Sunday was the tenth in his postseason career.

On Sunday, the Golden Knights’ special teams were at their best. They scored just six seconds into their first power play opportunity and killed off the only penalty they took.

Kirill Kaprizov has two goals and three assists in eight career postseason games against Vegas.

The Golden Knights’ record in Game 2 is 10-6 all-time, while the Wild are 3-13.
