The Vegas Golden Knights clinched a playoff berth on April 1st, and for 16 days, they’ve eagerly awaited their opponent. On Tuesday, the Minnesota Wild punched their ticket to the Stanley Cup Playoffs and secured their spot as WC1, locking in a matchup against the Golden Knights.

On Thursday, the league released the full schedule for round one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Here’s how things look for the Golden Knights:

Game 1: Sunday, April 20th, 7 p.m. @ T-Mobile Arena
Game 2: Tuesday, April 22nd, 8 p.m. @ T-Mobile Arena
Game 3: Thursday, April 24th, 6 p.m. @ Xcel Energy Center
Game 4: Saturday, April 26th, 1 p.m. @ Xcel Energy Center
Game 5*: Tuesday, April 29th, 6:30 p.m. @ T-Mobile Arena
Game 6*: Thursday, May 1st, 4:30 @ Xcel Energy Center
Game 7*: Saturday, May 3rd, TBD @ T-Mobile Arena

Since the Golden Knights were last in action on Wednesday against the Vancouver Canucks, they’ll have four full days of rest. This brief respite bodes well for Jack Eichel, who drew into the lineup on Wednesday after missing four games with an upper-body injury.

The Golden Knights have Stanley Cup aspirations; thus, they’re prepared for two grueling months of physical, intense hockey. The more rest they can squeeze in before that, the better.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs officially start on Saturday, April 19th, with two Central Division matchups. The President’s Trophy-winning Winnipeg Jets will host the St. Louis Blues at 3 p.m.; at 6:30 p.m., the Dallas Stars host the Colorado Avalanche.
