The Golden Knights played back-to-back games last weekend. They completed a comeback against the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday and beat the Nashville Predators 3-1 on Sunday. Adin Hill started both games and was stellar.

The Oilers, down Connor McDavid, Mattias Ekholm, and Stuart Skinner, are desperate for a win. They’re two points behind the Los Angeles Kings in the Pacific Division standings. The two teams are destined to meet in the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season, and the Oilers want home-ice advantage.

Adin Hill starts tonight against the Oilers. He has a record of 3-3-1 and an average save percentage of .900 in eight career games against the Oilers. Ilya Samsonov, who was a late scratch against the Nashville Predators on Sunday, is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Akira Schmid will back up tonight.

Calvin Pickard starts in net for the Oilers tonight. He has a record of 18-8-1 and an average save percentage of .899 in 30 games this season. Pickard has never started a game against the Golden Knights.
