It’s Thursday, March 27th, which means the 2025 NCAA Hockey Tournament kicks off today. Sixteen hopeful college programs enter, but only one can win the National Championship. It’s the road to the Frozen Four– the greatest Tournament in college hockey.

If you’ve never followed this particular spectacle, let me pitch it to you. Picture this— you can watch college prospects, the stars of tomorrow, competing against each other in a win-or-go-home high-stakes tournament. It’s March Madness, but hockey. And it’s all streaming on ESPN+!

Of the 32 NHL teams, 30 have at least one prospect in the 2025 NCAA Hockey Tournament. The Vegas Golden Knights have one prospect competing– Trevor Connelly, who they took 19th overall in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. Connelly plays for the Providence Friars, who take on the reigning National Champion Denver Pioneers on Friday.

There are 105 total drafted prospects competing in the Tournament across the 16 colleges. For all interested, I’ve compiled a list of every drafted player participating, organized by team.
