The Vegas Golden Knights (40-20-8) are on the second of a three-game homestand against Eastern Conference teams. Saturday’s game is the first of a back-to-back. The Golden Knights host the Detroit Red Wings (32-30-6) at T-Mobile Arena.

The puck drops just after 5 p.m.

The Golden Knights are fresh off of a dominant 5-1 win against the Boston Bruins. They shook off early rust thanks to a hat trick from Pavel Dorofeyev and a strong performance in net by Adin Hill. They’ll look to build off that tonight as they continue their quest to win the Pacific Division.

The Red Wings are coming off a 4-1 loss to the Washington Capitals. They kept up with the best team in the Eastern Conference for 40 minutes, but the Capitals blew it open in the third period and scored three unanswered. The Red Wings sit four points out of a playoff spot.

Adin Hill gets the nod today; Ilya Samsonov will start tomorrow. Hill has a record of 3-1-0 and an average save percentage of .892 in five career games against the Red Wings.

Cam Talbot starts in net for the Red Wings. Talbot has a record of 8-8-3 and an average save percentage of .903 in 20 career games against the Golden Knights.
