Vegas Golden Knights - Toronto Maple Leafs Gameday Graphic HOME

The Vegas Golden Knights (36-18-6) are on their third game of a five-game homestand. They’ve won two in a row and five of their last six. The Golden Knights take on the Toronto Maple Leafs (38-20-3) on Wednesday at T-Mobile Arena.

The Golden Knights are coming off their fourth shutout of the season, a 2-0 win over the New Jersey Devils. The team put on a defensive clinic and scored both goals on the power play. Noah Hanifin was incredible, as was Jack Eichel, but an unfortunate play resulted in an injury to star Devils center Jack Hughes.

The Maple Leafs are coming off a stretch where they played three games in four days and are 8-1-1 in their last ten games. They took a 2-0 lead in their last outing against the San Jose Sharks, but they ran out of gas and lost in a shootout.

Adin Hill is coming off of a 25-save shutout, his third of the season and the tenth of his career. He was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, so it appears that Bruce Cassidy is riding the hot hand. Hill has a record of 2-1-1 and an average save percentage of .921 in six career games against the Maple Leafs.

Joseph Woll is in the starter’s net for the Maple Leafs. He’s played just one game against the Golden Knights in his career– a 31-save shutout earlier this season. So, he’s got a record of 1-0-0 and an average save percentage of 1.00. Not too shabby.
