Daily Nuggets: Golden Knights In On Schenn; Avs, Cats Load Up

The Vegas Golden Knights weren’t in action last night but were at the center of several trade rumors. On his Saturday Headlines segment, Elliotte Friedman reported that the Golden Knights were among the teams interested in acquiring Brayden Schenn from the St. Louis Blues. And let’s not forget Brad Marchand– could the Bruins trade their captain?
Elsewhere in the Daily Nuggets, another goalie goal was scored. Also, to everyone who said, “Jeez, I really could go for a trade right about now!”: you got your wish. On Saturday, the hills were alive with the sound of music– Elliotte Friedman’s music, that is. I hope he got his rest because he’s going to need it. The Colorado Avalanche traded for Ryan Lindgren, the Minnesota Wild reacquired Gustav Nyquist, and the Florida Panthers nabbed Seth Jones.

On Saturday, the Edmonton Oilers snapped their five-game losing streak with a win over the Carolina Hurricanes. They’re now two points behind the Golden Knights in the standings, but the Golden Knights have a game in hand.
