On Wednesday, the Vegas Golden Knights will travel to Edmonton in search of their first road victory of the 2024-2025 season.

On Wednesday evening, the Vegas Golden Knights head to Edmonton to take on the Oilers.

Vegas is coming off of a 4-3 overtime victory over Utah on Saturday night. With the win, the Golden Knights improved to 8-0-0 at home on the 2024-2025 season to date. However, Vegas has still yet to win a road game, with an 0-3-1 mark away from T-Mobile Arena.

Recent History Between the Teams

This will be the first meeting of the 2024-2025 season between the Golden Knights and the Oilers. Edmonton took two of three matchups between the teams last season, winning both games at home, including one in a shootout. The Golden Knights took the lone meeting in Vegas.

Milestone Watch

-Defenseman Shea Theodore, who recently signed a seven-year contract extension with Vegas, is two points away from reaching 300 as a Golden Knight.

-Center Brett Howden, who scored the overtime winner on Saturday, is one goal away from surpassing his total from last season just 12 games in.

What They’re Saying

-Head Coach Bruce Cassidy: “We’ve gotta go in with our own mindset of getting a 60-minute effort. Because on the road, we’ve been getting about half of that.”

-Tomas Hertl: “We know how we play at home . . . we have to just now put it into work on the road.”

-Alex Pietrangelo: “It’s the responsibility of everyone up and down the lineup to know who you’re out against.”

How to Watch

Puck drop between Vegas and Edmonton will be at 5:30 PM PST. The game will be televised by Vegas 34, and can be streamed on KnighTime+.

The Golden Knights will also be hosting a watch party for the game at Sunset Station Hotel and Casino in Henderson.
