The Vegas Golden Knights held practice Wednesday morning at City National Arena after their 5-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets in game one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. A couple of notable absences were at practice as the VGK attempt to get fully healthy for this playoff run.
All of Laurent Brossoit, Alec Martinez, and Brayden McNabb were absent. However, head coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed that all three were taking maintenance/personal days and will return tomorrow. Injured player Will Carrier, who skated the other day in blue, was not on the ice Wednesday.
Additionally, Cassidy went back to the line combinations that he started the game against the Jets with. Midway through the game, in an effort to give his team a spark, Cassidy juggles his lines, reuniting the Misfits and putting Jack Eichel with Chandler Stephenson and Mark Strone.
