The Vegas Golden Knights have signed goaltender Jesper Vikman to a three-year entry-level contract that will begin next season. Vikman has previously been on a tryout agreement with the Henderson Silver Knights of the AHL, where he will likely finish the season.

The 21-year-old Swedish goaltender was a fifth-round pick by the Golden Knights in 2020. In 45 games with the Vancouver Giants of the WHL, he posted a .903 sv% and a 3.26 GAA. Vikman was named a WHL British Columbia Division First-Team All-Star for 2022-23.

This signing gives the Golden Knights system another depth piece as Vikman's season in the WHL is now over. Jiri Patera is currently injured for the Silver Knights, so their tandem as of last game was Vikman and Isaiah Saville.
