The Vegas Golden Knights (41-20-6, 88 points) will finish off their five-game road trip this afternoon with a game against the Philadelphia Flyers (24-31-11, 59 points) at 4:00 p.m. This is the second and final matchup of the season series between these two teams with the VGK currently leading 1-0.

No lineup changes are expected for the VGK, who most recently lost forward Keegan Kolesar to a day-to-day injury. Jonathan Quick is expected to re-enter the Vegas net after rookie Jiri Patera won his first career start Sunday against the St. Louis Blues.

What to Watch For

Pavel's Presence

Inserted into the lineup due to a Keegan Kolesar injury, Pavel Dorofeyev embraces his chance to impress by playing in the Golden Knight's top six on Sunday. He scored two points; one an assist, and the other his first NHL goal, off his face nonetheless. If Dorofeyev can continue this offensive output, it will give head coach Bruce Cassidy yet another NHL-capable forward to work within his lineup.

Johnny's Quick

After Jiri Patera got the call to action against the Blues, Jonathan Quick will return to be the Golden Knights starter with all of Logan Thompson, Adin Hill, and Laurent Brossoit currently injured. Quick is on a hot streak with his new team in Vegas, posting a perfect 3-0 record and a .939 save percentage.

Falling Flyers

The Flyers are an organization that is going through a rough patch as they most recently fired general manager Chuck Fletcher, replacing him with interim general manager Danny Briere. It's clear that the team is rebuilding, but that doesn't make them an opponent to take lightly. Any team coached by John Tortorella will put up a good fight and the VGK need to be prepared for that test.
