The Vegas Golden Knights have acquired forward Teddy Blueger from the Pittsburgh Penguins in a trade Wednesday afternoon. The return going to Pittsburgh is prospect Peter DiLiberatore and a 2024 fourth-round pick.

Blueger is a 28-year-old depth forward with five years of NHL experience. This season he has two goals and eight assists for ten points in 45 games played. He is a pending unrestricted free agent who has a cap hit of $2.2 million AAV.

This is the third trade the Golden Knights have made in preparation for the NHL Trade Deadline on Friday. The team has also acquired Dysin Mayo and Ivan Barbashev outside of Blueger. The Golden Knights play the Carolina Hurricanes tonight at home at 7:00 p.m.
