Some guys have all the luck. Not only are Marc-Andre Fleury and Mark Stone two of the most popular Golden Knights, but now they have their own statues. Lego statues. I’m supremely jealous, although I did have someone buy me a small personalized Lego of myself once. (Las Vegas Review Journal)

The Henderson Silver Knights are going to do a live local TV debut of the team’s inaugural season jerseys on November 9 at 7:30 pm PT. KSNV-NBC Channel 3 will carry it live plus there will be livestreams on all Golden Knights and Silver Knights social media channels. (NHL.com)

Ouch. It will be five months of rehab for a couple of Dallas Stars players. Goaltender Ben Bishop will be out for five months after surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee and Jaime Benn had right hip arthroscopy and labral repair. Basically they’d be on track to return late March or early April if all goes well. It’s amazing what guys will play through in the playoffs (Benn) and what it really takes to keep them out of the lineup (Bishop). (Dallas Morning News)

Speaking of injury recovery, Winnipeg Jets forward Mark Scheifele says he’s “100 percent, no question” in terms of his recovery from an Achilles injury. The Jets better hope he is, because without him they died fast and quiet. (Sportsnet)

Ryan Strome is shooting for the moon in arb this year, seeking $5.7M on a one-year deal. Rangers fans are holding their collective breath. The team countered at $3.6M. (TSN)

After missing the shootout-tying goal in the gold medal game in Japan, Brendan Shanahan was devastated. So he wrote himself a letter and mailed it. Four years later, Canada won gold and Shanny was there against the odds. Here’s a great chat with the former NHL dean of discipline, Stanley Cup champ and gold medal winner. (Sportsnet)
