Vegas Retro Red Jersey Golden Knights

Will the Vegas Golden Knights don a red fourth jersey this season? According to Chris Smith from the jersey website Icethetics, he believes that will happen. The jersey would be part of the NHL Reverse Retro series.

Smith wrote in a post that he had seen the jersey a month ago thanks to a trusted source, but was sworn to secrecy.

The design borrows the striping from the Las Vegas Thunder of the International Hockey League, which called the city home from 1993-1999. The Thunder featured several notable NHLers at one time or another including Curtis Joseph, Alexi Yashin, and Petr Nedved. Also former player and current NHL referee Wes McCauley played for the Thunder.

While no actual photos of the Vegas Golden Knights red fourth jersey have been circulated, they feature a red body and the use of the secondary logo as the main crest. The primary logo moves to the shoulders. There is also a metallic gold Adizero collar and likely to be other Adidas touches throughout the design.

Vegas just recently introduced its Gold third jersey design. The leak of the red fourth completes the color wheel for the team and is the only jersey to showcase the secondary logo.

What do you think? Yea or nay? And choosing between the gold third and red fourth, which one would you buy?
